About this tool

Create a visual at the exact size for each network in a minute: Instagram post, story, YouTube thumbnail, LinkedIn banner, Facebook link image or Pinterest pin. Start from a ready-made gradient or your own photo, add a filter and an overlay, then place your texts with your finger. Everything happens in your browser.

When to use it

Announce an event or an offer

A bold title on a color gradient reads in a second in a feed: ideal for a date, a sale or an opening.

YouTube thumbnail or podcast cover

A photo with a dark overlay and a big outlined title stays readable even when small, where the click happens.

Share a quote or a tip

Quote visuals are among the most shared: the “Elegant” style on a plain background looks polished without a designer.

How to use

  1. Choose the format: Instagram, story, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, X or Pinterest.
  2. Choose a background: a color, a ready-made gradient or your photo with a filter.
  3. Edit the title and subtitle, apply a quick style, move them on the preview.
  4. Click “Create image”, then download or copy it.

How it works

The visual is drawn in a canvas at the size recommended by the chosen network. The gradient follows the chosen angle, and a background photo is cropped to cover the whole surface without being stretched; you choose the visible part by dragging it.

Filters (brightness, contrast, saturation, blur, black and white, sepia…) are applied by the browser's graphics engine. Texts are positioned relative to the image, so changing the format keeps their overall layout.

Tips for best results

  • Fewer words, bigger: on mobile, a 5 to 7 word title is read at a glance.
  • Keep texts away from the edges: apps cover the top and bottom of stories.
  • On a photo, a 25 to 40% overlay is usually enough to make white text readable.
  • Use the same colors and font from one post to the next: your account becomes recognizable.
  • For a banner, keep the text centered: the profile picture often covers a corner.

Common problems and fixes

My banner text is hidden by the profile picture

LinkedIn, YouTube and Facebook banners are partly covered depending on the screen: keep your texts in the center of the image.

The filters have no effect

Your browser does not support canvas filters (Safari before version 18): update it or use Chrome, Edge or Firefox.

The published image looks blurry

Networks recompress images. Use the size offered for that network, and PNG for visuals with a lot of text.

Frequently asked questions

Which sizes are available?

Instagram square (1080 × 1080) and portrait (1080 × 1350), story and Reels (1080 × 1920), Facebook and LinkedIn link (1200 × 630), X (1600 × 900), YouTube thumbnail (1280 × 720), Pinterest pin (1000 × 1500), LinkedIn and YouTube banners and Facebook cover.

How do I make text readable on a photo?

Use the overlay: a semi-transparent dark layer over the photo makes white text stand out. The “On a dark box” quick style is another option.

Do the filters work everywhere?

They work in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari 18 or later. In older Safari versions, the overlay and zoom work but filters are ignored.

Can I reuse my style for the next post?

The format, background, filter and overlay are remembered in your browser. Texts start from the example on each visit.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No, the post is created entirely on your device.
