About this tool

How to use

- Click “Start dictation” and allow the microphone.
- Speak, fix if needed, then copy the text.
Common problems and fixes
“Microphone blocked”
Allow the microphone for this site in your browser settings (padlock icon left of the address).
Nothing appears in Firefox
Firefox does not offer speech recognition: use Chrome, Edge or Safari.
Punctuation is missing
Say “comma”, “period” or “new line”: most languages recognise them.

Is my voice uploaded?
Yes, to your browser's recognition service (Google for Chrome, Apple for Safari). Zanakit receives neither audio nor text.
