How to use

Common problems and fixes
Everything is marked as different
Line endings (Windows/Mac) or indentation differ: tick “Ignore whitespace differences”.
A moved line appears twice
A line-by-line diff shows a move as a removal then an addition: this is expected.
“Text too long”
Compare excerpts of at most 3,000 lines, or use git diff for very large files.
