About this tool

Reduce the size of your JPG, PNG and WebP photos without visible loss: pick the quality and maximum size, compare before and after, then download. Compression runs on your device in the background, with no size limit and no upload.

How to use

  1. Choose one or more images.
  2. Set the quality and maximum size.
  3. Compare, then download the result.

Common problems and fixes

The image is too large for a form

Aim for 70% quality and 1920 px maximum: a phone photo often drops from 4 MB to under 500 KB.

The compressed image is larger

It was already optimised, so the tool keeps the original. Try WebP or a smaller size.

The photo becomes blurry

Raise the quality to 80–85% or keep the original size.

Frequently asked questions

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. Compression runs on your device; images never leave your browser.

Which quality should I choose?

Between 70 and 80% the difference is rarely visible and the size drops a lot.

How many images can I compress at once?

As many as you like: they are processed one after another on your device.

Is photo information (EXIF) kept?

Orientation is applied; other metadata (location, camera) is removed, which protects your privacy.
